LAST ENTRY FOR PBEY 3102~ BLOGGING~

  1. What do you like about blogging?

Blogging is a medium for me to express my thoughts and feelings. It helps me in reducing my stress.

2. What you do not like about blogging?

Sometime, blogging makes me uses a lot of time and abandon important task.

3. What have you gained from blogging e.g. Language skills, improved fluency, critical thinking, improved thought processes, technology skills etc. How?

First and foremost, in terms of language skills and fluency, blogging do not bring great impact on me. But I do agree that it has some minor impact on those skills. The most obvious area that had been improved is on my technological skills.

Through blogging, I learn how to create my blog. I also learn how to decorate my blog. In order to create and decorate my blog, I learn how to create themes, background and many other features of my blog. I also learn how to integrate songs and videos in my blog.

4. What do you like about this course?

Expose me to lots of current development of using technology in teaching. Here I learned

to use and apply new softwares to support my teaching and learning session. Besides it are

very helpful in developing teaching aids.

5. What you do not like about this course?

Sometime there are too many tasks that need to be completed.

6. What have you learnt from this course?

The most crucial part is I have learned how to use technology in teaching. Expose me to lots of

current development of using technology in teaching. Here I learned to use and apply new

softwares to support my teaching and learning session. Besides it are very helpful in developing

teaching aids.

7. What have you learnt from this course that you did not expect to?

I did not expect to learn about audio editing. It just like being a composer. But in the end, it is

very useful.

8. What have u expected but do not learn from this course?

Nothing.

Here I know that many teaching aids could be gain online. I need to choose the most

suitable and interactive teaching aids to be used.

Enable me to edit beautiful photo.

Editing photo, inserting text, adjusting brightness and many more.

It help me to create and adopt any pictures and implement it as teaching aids.

I can edit any song and turn it into MP3 ringtone

The skills enable me to produce teaching aids that use song which surely can attract pupils’

Through this module, I am able to produce my own video to be implemented in teaching.

Tasks are simple and easy

I learn how to use Publisher to create name card, brochure, letterhead and many more

ELT classroom?

It teaches me that teaching aids can be in many forms such as brochure, name card and many

more. So through this module, I can vary my types of teaching aids.

10. If you can change anything about this course, state what is and elaborate?

The only improvement is on the module. I do think that the module should be check or

examine precisely. This is because there are many errors and incomplete steps found in the

modules. It makes the process of completing the modules become difficult that it should be.

SELAMAT HARI RAYA!!!!





Tomorrow, all muslim will celebrating Hari Raya AIDILADHA....This day is also known as Hari raya Korban and it marks the end of pilgrimage period.


Every year, millions of muslim from various country make a journey to Mecca in Saudi
Arabia to perform haj, one of the five basic tenet of Islam. It also cmmorates the sacrifices made
by the prophet Ibrahim, who demonstrated immense faith when he was put to the test by God.

week 14

now we are at last week for this semester!!!!....After completing all modul..now you can say me master of technology..hahahaha...juz joking

Tq for giving me chance to learn this course. This course had opened my eyes and activate my creative brain. The course is really helpful for me as future teacher...this course help me in thinking how to integrate technology and teaching. For you who do not learn this course..you better regret about that...hahahaha

week 13

For this week we have to do video editing.Video editing covered many aspects including to cut, grab, split and convert videos to audios. These are all important things that you need to know when talking about video editing. I fact, they are all basic skills when it comes to video editing as I believe there are many more to it.

For this module, we also had three tasks - individual task, pair work and group work. For the individual task, we had to find a video and extract pictures and audio from the video. For the pair work, we had to come up with a video of any theme and post it on the YouTube.

For the group work, we had to come up lesson plans for the 4 skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) using the resources that we had developed with our video editing skills.

week 12 (E-Book)

E-BOOK?????


This week we were introduced to ebook. I thought it was a really complicated software but it turned out to be pretty easy. Don't be fooled by the word "eBook", it may sound difficult but it is not. And it doesn't require any software. All you need is Microsoft PowerPoint and you'll be good to go.

For eBook, we were told to come out with simple ideas that would be suitable for primary school pupils. The most important thing when designing eBooks for primary school children would be to ensure they are colorful, they have capturing music on the background and the images are sharp. It is a challenge to choose the mosts suitable images and music for the eBook because those are the main elements that would determine if the eBook is interesting enough for kids.

For this week's class, Pn Foziah shared with us about photo editing. She showed us some examples of photos that have been edited.

PHOTO EDITING???

Photo editing encompasses the processes of altering images, whether they be digital photographs, traditional analog photographs, or illustrations. Traditional analog image editing is known as photo retouching, using tools such as an airbrush to modify photographs, or editing illustrations with any traditional art medium. Graphic software programs, which can be broadly grouped into vector graphics editors, raster graphics editors, and 3d modelers, are the primary tools with which a user may manipulate, enhance, and transform images. Many image editing programs are also used to render or create computer art from scratch.

FEATURES OF PHOTO EDITING???

One of the prerequisites for many of the applications mentioned below is a method of selecting part(s) of an image, thus applying a change selectively without affecting the entire picture. Most graphics programs have several means of accomplishing this, such as a marquee tool, lasso, vector-based pen tools as well as more advanced facilities such as edge detection, masking, alpha compositing, and color and channel-based extraction.

week 10


For this week,Pn Foziah gave us tasks regarding to Module 2, the Audio Editing

The tasks are:

Task 1
a) Choose a song, and then edit it by isolating the chorus of the song to make it in a ringtone. The song could either be a Malay, Mandarin, Hindi or an English song.



b) Save it on CD and hand it in together with the module

Task 2

a) The next task is to cut and paste two songs together and make it sound nice.



b) The evaluation criteria will depend on the quality of sound and the tempo of the song.

Task 3

a) The third task is to edit a song and to change the quality of the song to make it sound better.
*The editing must be done for the song ‘dua insan’ sung by siti and M.Nasir.The intro needs to cut out the clapping sound and the end of the song, cut out the clapping sound as well as the introduction of the singers
